bp, i concur completely. SI and particularly the G/K thread have been incredibly worthwhile investments in time and money.

I ran a net worth graph on Quicken last night and saw the correlation between my increased lurking/modifying my investment style here and a sudden increased slope in my net worth graph over time!

Hi bp,

<<it's just great to be able to tap into such collective wisdom & resources often not readily available >>

AMEN. I bought more this morning as well. After discovering that
I have been using Gemstar technology for about 3 years and didn't
even know it! It is the wonderful program guide with DirectV.
Believe me...could not do without it!

Glenda

OT: I doubt that I would have ever stumbled onto a stock like GMST reading the WSJ or IBD.

Threads like Gorilla have a "think tank" quality that spurs your thoughts in directions that might otherwise be unfulfilled.

bp, Interesting observation. Funny though, I was first alerted to and invested in GMST because of my IBD subscription. I also had read Moore's "Inside the Tornado" quite some time ago. Now I do not have time to read IBD regularly and monitor SI, etc. on the computer. Guess what? I have cancelled IBD subscription in deference to monitoring ideas on SI and particularly on the Gorilla thread. I am planning to be a more active lurker and hopefully will be able to contribute to some ideas.
Thanx to all for your great ideas and analysis.
Regards, scott
