Wiselight, I'm a Christian, and I don't have fear, guilt or paranoia. Also, by your comment below, you are making a blanket statement stereotyping all Christians.

Christians are victims of the church and the church uses fear and guilt to control their followers almost like a cult would. It is, for some, a very unhealthy environment.

WL, what you said was once prevalent an to some degree,still is, among those that still depend on some sort of denominational churches or are foolish enough to fall into the clutches of one of the, all too many, charlatans out there. There has been a major movement of Faith based Christians who have eschewed the old style denominations and base their worship on the Bible only. These people do not condone any of the violent acts committed by others,falsely, in the name of Christianity.^ ^ ^ TD
