I use both for indexes, options for individual stocks, and for the small float stuff I play, the only way is to buy the stock itself.
An example is CAP.EC, which has been flat lined for some time, but some 3rd tier broker upgraded it today. LVEN, another micro floater, was a buck a month ago....
DOW closed below 10602, only by a few points, to close to say support is broken. If they shake it down to 10500 in the morning, it might be time to go long.

Remember, the big money shakes everyone out, buys it up on the dump, then lets it run, selling into it, laughing to the bank...over and over. The pattern is there, you just have to learn the signals.
