Dave,
The letter is a technology letter and doesn't put forth the notion that "if you subscribe and buy the list you will make this amount"
There are currently about 30 companies on the list and perhaps a couple that are lower in price than when first mentioned in the letter. Some have exceptional gains like AMCC from 11 to 60 and of course QCOM from 20 to 200 to name a couple. There is no guarantee that you will make money buying any stock on the list but it's a good place to start.

I can't tell you his return, but I can tell you it is superb. I've only noticed 2 or 3 losers (PCMS, SPCT come to mind, there may have been another) in the last 2 years. Somebody else might be able to complete that list for you.

The upside is much better/bigger than the losses. Things paying off as Qualcomm did (continues to do) so overwhelm the losers that his returns are the best I've seen (admitting here that I haven't compared results by the numbers). The 10 fold increases in a year or two of some of his picks could cover a lot of sins (if there were any, which there aren't).
