T.A.

Being a traditional bar chart guy, what's the advantages of candles?

A regular vertical bar has O,H, L,C and spread. You can readily tell where the present price is in relation to its open, high and low.

Other than having a thicker bar with colors, it still relays the same info.

Just curious,

Dominick

Exsqueeze me? Baking powder? Candlesticks give us insight into investor sentiment. That's what they're designed to do.

Also, any insights from all you cognoscenti out there as to what starts a rally in a stock on no news. I can readily understand why everyone jumps on board once it's rolling. But any experience as to what sparks newsless rallies like NTBK today? Are there some big bucked manipulators?
