I agree Dave. However, Yahoo is just total overkill. I guess there is negative 'network effect' with chat boards --> diminishing returns with incremental users. While I like the fact it costs something so there is some barrier to pure spam, it seems that SI has lost all momentum and dying a slow death. Wonder if there was an earnout for the SI owners based on near-term revenues that Go2net agreed to pay. I agree though - the biz model doesn't fit.

Glad to hear you're not going anywhere. Your stimulating analysis keeps the boards interesting.

I am still missing Clam Clam's analysis though. I've often wondered if he came to the conclusion that SI was a waste of time or if someone (like his management) told him to quit posting.
