It's funny how things come full circle. I remember saying the same thing about a year ago, that you are saying now. You know it's easy to see the future when you are a gamer, because gamers use the technology that will be mainstream in the future. That's why it was obvious to me and other gamers that consoles would begin to cannibilize sales of mainstream PCs.

If you are a gamer, these new console with complete internet access are almost everything you want. If you are just a regular joe/jane, why buy an expensive PC just to use it for email and internet access, when you can have so much more. This market is virtually wide open. I can imagine a day (next year?) when these new game consoles will replace your PC, VCR, old game machine, and maybe even have video telephony capabilities.

RDRAM is perfectly positioned to take advantage of these coming trends. All that's left to see is whether they can execute, so as not to lose support from Intel et al.
