After the close, 3Com (COMS 27 5/16 -7/16) reported a blow-out quarter, beating the street by nine cents in posting a gain of $0.33... Stock quickly jumped more than two points in after hours trading... While we expect stock to hold on to gains in today's regular session (barring sector-wide meltdown), Briefing.com disturbed by lack of top-line growth... Total sales fell 1.6% to $1.39 bln... Company's core personal connectivity segment showed considerable weakness, as sales tumbled 19%... As such, we would be inclined to use news-related pop to reduce exposure to stock... Resistance is at 30. Those are Briefing's comments. Going down and down down...whoops how bout a lift down.
