Hi. llwk7051@aql.com,

I apologize for this belated reply but I am always reluctant to discuss my approach to reading the market because most people would not understand it. Maybe one day I will sit down and go into detail about my philosophy for anyone who cares.

All I can say is that one day people are going to wake up and see the Market for what it really is, a great Hierarchy with it's caste system attributes which lends itself to great degrees of predictability. With every hierarchy it's predictability is always directly proportional to the wealth or monies it controls. There is always a titular head such as the fed and and there are always the enforcers that keep order in the hierarchy and that is where the firms such as Goldman Sachs, Saloman, Merrill, Bear Stearns and a few others come in to play. There is a lot more to it but you get my drift. The main thing to understand is that the only thing an investor has to adjudicate is what is the AGENDA of those controlling the HIERARCHY. I will give one illustration of the control the Houses in New York have. Most of the readers probably do not recall the last gasping day of the worst down turn during the Asian crisis but it was very telling. The boys in Chicago were trying to make a fortune on the down turn and were using what they felt was their option leverage to whipsaw every Index on the board. The boys in New York had seen enough because it was about to destroy their inventory, so what happened, we went from down over 300 pts. to up over 110 pts. in the last 20 mins. of trading. Like I said, it is a HIERARCHY my friend and no one gets out of order to the detriment of it's members.

Selah,

Voltaire
