Have you ever heard about the law of 5/8ths? Most living blocks are based on 5/8. That's why we like things that have a ratio of 5/8.

Yes, precisely. My only point was that it is not unusual for people to espouse Mechanistic Evolution, but to covertly import ideas which go beyond immediate adaptation to environment, and assume improvement in terms that we would desire....Now, it may be that evolution does have some point, but that goes beyond a strictly materialist reading....
