Read this article: gatewayva.com Nicotine has no other societal impact apart from the much-belabored problems caused by smoking itself. Why not make it available in other forms? It seems that the health problems associated with smoking are caused by tobacco and smoke inhalation, not nicotine. It is also evident that most people smoke because they like the effect of nicotine. Hmm, could nicotine gum (not cessation) be a huge opportunity for GumTech? Just how big is the smoking market anyway? Wow, I think we are on to something here...
