Well, I admire his savoire-faire, his self-esteem, his ability to think fast on his feet, and his ability to get the audience on his side. All definitely plusses. Maybe a trial lawyer in the making? I knew a guy named Jonathan when I was at Tulane Law School, he was British, and just sort of loafed around all day idly and indolently, but when he pulled himself together for a moot court argument he was stupendous. I would tell him, "Jonathan, you're a monster." His own creation.

So did he get the part?

<<I'm beginning to think the director has a Garland fetish)>>

When I was bout 12 I saw Judy in "The Wizard OF Oz" at the St.Louis outdoor theater. The guy who fronted the tickets was the CFO of Curlee Clothes in St.Louis. He had a plane and because only one plane had ever been stolen from the airport he skipped that insurance. He watched his plane being stolen.
