Tonight you change to "progressive." That's typical. Bernie Sanders was elected as a Socialist but the Dems had him change it to "Independent" because he voted with them 99% of the time. No one on US political scene could be less independent and more socialist than Bernie and the Dem party he so loyally supports. Real campaign reform would have the media report that the Dem Party is the US's socialist party. Call them the "Social Democrats". They'd never do that because truth is anathema to them and "socialism" would broadcast where they're going. I remember Jane Fonda saying that their campaign for "economic democracy" was socialism but that you could never mention the "S" word - sort of like the "L" word. (They are currently destroying the word "progressive"). That was after Ms. Fonda stated about her support for North Vietnam that if Americans knew what communism really was they would get down on their hands and knees and pray for it. The world did find out what communism was and it was the Gulag. Jane happily went on to major boob jobs and marrying one of the world's leading capitalists, apparently when he went off his lithium.
