Paul, So someone who foresaw the cycles correctly would have FAB space when there was a shortage and would be buying bankrupt fabs in glut times. A high stakes game.
In my prior post I used 'glut' instead of 'shortage' for the current flash situation. As I see it the uses for flash are growing as quick or quicker than fab space so the flash shortage shoukd last for 2 years, unless we have a meltdown and that also seems unlikely with Asai getting back on it's feet as we speak.
