are you folks capable of stretching your imaginations to the point where you can vaguely conceive of a remote possibility that rambus will not go from 0% of the PC market to 100% in 36 months?

dan,
it has nothing to do with imagination...
it has everything to do with intel...
intel painted a very clear picture two weeks ago.
have you seen it?

developer.intel.com

did you know intel still makes over 80% of the world's chipsets?
the fact that a pc oem is using a cheaper memory, short-term, in lower end computers is part of intel's plan too. it is all in the picture.

sorry things are going so badly at amd what with dell and now gateway refusing to use their processors. maybe when amd switches to rambus next year, they will be able to get back into the main stream.
