Don't believe everything you hear on CNBC. MUEI always reports first, usually one day ahead of MU. And there's the confusion factor of saying "Micron" when they really mean "Micron Electronics". I think we always find some article that botches it.

And one must remember that MU loves to come out with some big news a couple of days before. Sometimes it's a finance thing (TXN, INTC, Rendition), sometimes it's new products being announced, sometimes it's MUEI-related (but not MUEI rumors -- those are for option expiration week).

I myself like the 9/27 figure. It jives pretty nicely with my theory that They want to keep the up-trend going all the way through the end of the calendar quarter. (Check the price in the 6/29 area and you'll see what I mean.)
