Since I am usually so quick to criticize CNBC on their (usually) pro-Clinton coverage, I must commend them on today's coverage of Clinton vetoing the tax cut bill. Very nice indeed. Especially televising his announcement...letting him stick his foot in his mouth without any media attempt to buffer or spin his remarks. As much as I liked it, I almost have to admit that it was a Republican-favored move...it was too funny seeing Bubba on CNBC, telling us that he could spend our money wiser than us taxpayers. And his frequent references to Medicare shortfalls reminded everyone that it was none other than his wife who messed up Medicare and the whole medicine practice (as we knew it, pre-1992) for starters. Even the most liberal of liberals must've viewed his comments with disgust...the Soup Nazi had nothing on Bubba today, "no tax cuts for YOU!!! I will spend your tax dollars as I see fit!!!" Anyone who understands what has happened to the medicine profession since the Clintons' 7-year reign of terror must be laughing as he panders the public for Medicare benefits.

Again, a tip of the cap to CNBC for showing the story as it unfolded. Let the goofs at CNN spin=meister the story as they see fit...CNBC provided a true education by letting the public see the man's words come out of his mouth.

Semi on-topic, couldn't help but barf as Babs was on MSNBC last night, proclaiming her love and devotion for the Clintons. Her recent re-emergence into politics tells me that her daytrading gig didn't work out so well...one thing is for sure: when so many Hollywood-types are so firmly entrenched behind one politician, you can bet your last dollar that their motivations and objectives are 100% opposite of what is generally good for the country.
