Guree : You might be interested to know that, on my own multiple regression models, the Dow hit the "overbought" line last week. If this represents a reversal point, as it usually does although not in 1987, then the expected downside could be 30% (to +/- 8000) with the currency relationships at the present levels.

I'm not saying there's a hundred percent probability it will happen only that there's a 95% probability it could.

By the way, gold in dollars and gold in currencies, including SAf rands, was at a buy level ($255 = oversold at 95% probability level) on all my models. So, dear guree, perhaps you should take some time off from "lifesaving the women and children" and do some trading.
