TP you cannot compare men heroes with bee heroes. Webster's Dictionary: A man's " HEROIC ACT ::: " a : exhibiting or marked by courage and daring b : supremely noble or self-sacrificing. TAP you cannot call a bee dying from stinging somebody self-sacrificing and noble ( you'll be laughed at so don't even try, GAG.) A bee is preprogrammed. A man chooses to. Very different. Their stinger is barbed such that if they sting in defense of the hive, their death is assured. They give no thought to the action, this is a product of pure DNA, one lesson per generation. The result of the lesson is : if I have saved 8 cousins, or 4 sisters I have saved as many genes as if I saved myself.
