OT:

Yeah... but when Ol 49r starts touting the "virtual mining" experience, it sounds more like a "dud" ranch" than a dude ranch, except maybe for 'ol Roy and his buddies.

Afterall, if he can pull 2 troy ounces per trommel load (what, maybe a ton in weight), that certainly would compare favorably to what other miners achieve. Thus, it should justify making it a commercial operation and not some vacation hobby. (Ie: if it is so profitable by itself, why on earth would he want to sell grubstakes on such a profitable claim?)

But he knows he can make more money from a bunch of suckers willing to fork out their good money in order to buy an overpriced PM. They would be better off buying gold coins. At least they are sure they actually get the gold they paid for.

Do you really think if a 4-6 ounce nugget showed up in that sluice, that you would actually get it mailed to you? Not a friggin' chance.

Take care Darleen... I have to head to the pawn shop to see if I can find someone who wants to buy my trunkful of wooden nickels... $2,400 takes all....:0)

Regards,

Ron
