I do think there are good churches. In my opinion the good is a side effect of the world view and not because of it, but non the less they are good churches.

They are not good because they get a tax holiday from the property tax (or corporate tax or whatever loophole they are looking for). They are good because they fullfill a need in the congregation. As such they should expect support from that congregation.

The tax break is what encourages bad churches, I wouldn't call them churches at all except they expouse Jesus and put the fear of hell into those inclined to belive. These are also the churches that tend to to pick fights in order to bind the flock to the shephard.

Seattle This my attempt at humor for the moderately informed. If you assume that the taxes they pay on you own property will cover the rest of the property in the city, then you must have the resources of Bill Gates.
