capitulation also occurred last October for the indices (as an example) ... and that was not a new low.

my definition of capitulation ... involves the psychology of sellers selling at the bottom on panic and fear, leaving only new buyers to come in and begin a new and upward trend ... and on huge volume, that is what we saw the other day.

it is always easier for a non-stock holder to see this ... than a stockholder that is in and holding at a loss
