Marc - too many complex relationships with our good friends down south to ponder here... whether we like it or not though.. our markets are pretty closely tied to theirs and not just because many companies trade in both markets. I think the biggest concern is that if the USA puts up rates too much, the Bank of Canada will be under increased pressure to increase ours to protect the dollar - regardless of the strength of the economy. You can only swim against a tidal wave sooooo.... long before you get washed along with it!! <ggg>
