As a relatively disinterested observer, Neocon, I find the points you have been making compelling.

I hold no brief for either party, being a libertarian at base. However, as an observer, I find that your take on the motivators behind the economies and politics is more aligned with what I have seen than the spinmeisters would have us believe.
