Ron and Thread, Our thoughts are with Taiwan and the rest of the world torn apart by Mother Nature. We have experienced a series of natural disasters and horrific civil wars the past few years. Some of the interviews on AOL with quake victims are both moving and disturbing. I took the opportunity to send in a donation to the International Relief Fund earmarked for Taiwan via the American Red Cross. They accept both internet donations via a secure site or through an 800 number (1-800-HELP NOW). Being of Asian descent and having relatives in nearby countries makes this disaster particularly distressing for me. Having enjoyed a great windfall from SanDisk this year I decided to add the American Red Cross to my list of charities for 1999. Let's hope the suffering there is minimized and passes quickly for the Taiwanese people. Ausdauer
