<<Do you know why the volume was so large?>>

No I don't. However, the price for COST is so attractive and bearishness so high right now that i don't want to gamble on waiting for it to dip lower.

GUMM is a stock promotion fraud and their claims of a homeopathic cold remedy are laughable.

Zicam whether it works or not may get lost in the noise.

With the ad campaign they have planned, I doubt that is even a remote possibility. Effectiveness of the relief will be the greatest determinant. Never having gone to a doctor for cold relief, I don't find your argument very compelling. We can pay $75 to $100 for relief or $10... and we can even nip it in the bud by taking the medication upon exposure and prior to symptoms.

The most famous refrain, "take two aspirins and call me...." also belie your not so altruistic impression of the medical profession.
