Well, fwiw I don't consider the HP deal to be about CRM software alone... there was a lot to that, and BTW Sebl is already in HP in a major way with SFA minimum, HP is listed on the Siebel customer list... I don't know much about HP myself.

I realized after I posted that perhaps somebody's internal CRM or SFA implementation should not be divulged here on the Oracle thread. I don't know if that is considered "proprietary" or not... but, fwiw, a short list of SV companies I would say would include the comms like cisco, jnpr etc and then the semis amat, klac, etc., maybe aapl... I don't normally think about HP or IBM, they are just too big, as I say Sebl is already in HP anyway.

Honestly, I don't want to go to far with this because it came up as an issue regarding software stocks. But the fact is Siebel is the leader in this area, why deny it? Wouldn't you rather invest in a paranoid company vs. an arrogant one?
