C'mon Jeff and others. Tell everyone what is REALLY going on. Let's start from the beginning of the metaphoria era and bring everyone to the present: metaphoria was obtained cheap (and I mean cheap!). It only cost them stock. now that they have this new toy noone really wanted to buy it because the consumer didn't really know the true potential of this thing. In an effort to obtain market penetration they gave it away to some pretty good players. I will expand later. In an effort to survive and obtain analyst coverage for a shrinking and sinking stock they had an analyst come and visit. From their recommendations they told iA to have a post y2k plan, reduce overhead, and get the stock up to over 5 dollars per share. In addition it was also told that they needed some good expansion and acquisitions was good way of getting that. From there they obtained Way Communications, Tumble Interactive and then DSYS. Well 2 out of 3 is not bad, would you not agree. You should ask yourselves why that happened. From what is suspected, Way told iA to shove off, iA stalled on Tumble because of metaphoria and sales of such, and Dsys is still unclear who called what off. However I believe that it was a financial institution that stalled that process. all this has lead to the present situation. What is not being said is what is really these recent announcements mean. Take for example gilbertson's induction to the iA Board of Fame. his contacts and now belief in this product has lead and opened many doors quicker than Gruder could himself. It has lead him to the west coast for some great (and I mean GREAT!) potential deals for metaphoria. (HMMM let me see, Gilbertson....west coast....Healtheon...healthnet) You get the picture. Think of what is out on the west coast and you will get the picture. BTW, it appears that they have also registered a domain called enterprise.com could it be Enterprtise rent a cars or the USS Enterprise. you get the clearer picture. This Louisville Police Department deal is not felt to be a money proposition deal. They are giving metaphoria away just to get market penetration. Once the model works, and I'm sure it will, then sales will increase. In addition, a major financial institution in the northeast (my guess is JPM) has already purchased metaphoria and will not let iA release the information.
