LOOK-LookSmart Leads All Major Portals in Annual Traffic Growth; 112 Percent Increase Prior to Launch of Consumer Advertising BUSINESS WIRE - September 22, 1999 07:15 SAN FRANCISCO, Sep 22, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- LookSmart (Nasdaq:LOOK) leads the portal industry in traffic growth, as reported in the Sept. 20 The Industry Standard article, "Portal Traffic Trends." According to Media Metrix, LookSmart has achieved a 112 percent growth rate for the period December 1998 to July 1999. Snap.com is a distant second with growth of 63 percent, followed by MSN.com with 43 percent and GotoNet with 41 percent.
