I attended services in about 8 or 9 different churches of the old style denominations looking for my niche. I became totally disillusioned when it seemed that the congregation and the preacher spent more time on who would pay for paving the parking lot than what Jesus had to say. There were no churches like ours at that time so, I was left with no where to go. That contributed to my downfall. I wonder if something similar is not what happened to some of the posters on this thread who are so bitter about religion and Christianity. Maybe they don't know that an option now exists.
