Hi Alan, It's a dirty little secret that the funds pay EXTREMELY close attention to the technical condition of their holdings and will get their fraternity brothers over in the analyst community to shill at key points on the chart to "create" support... which oftens turns out to be immediately futile, but occasionally works (for a few days)... my big fight on the EGRP thread many many moons ago had to do with this phenomenon precisely... they pulled out all the stops, so to speak, back in April and May to keep the little guy in, as they bailed en masse. Ugly and cynical behavior, but that's the biz! ~Smart$
