checking out the Land Rovers

I love my Lexus RX300. Ultra comfortable. The AWD is far superior to the 2WD.

Glad to see you back.

Dear Ms.X. If you want a TRUE SUV that outperforms the Land Rovers at a far cheaper price check out the new Jeep Grand Cherokees with V-8 and Quadudrive. You will then have a fine vehicle and money left over to invest. JDN

Jan

Check out the Mercedes SUV. It is cheaper than the Land Rover and rides much better. The Mercedes SUV is the only SUV on a chassis that is not converted from a truck or car. Basically it rides like a car but is tough as a truck. Mrs. Hardline test drove everything. You can get the base Mercedes SUV for $34k but because it is a Mercedes, there is a lot in the base.

Hi Jan:

I'm a safety person (although you wouldn't know it from some of my investments) and like the volvo s80 for our next auto.

The land rover didn't do well on the 40mph crash test. The Mercedes & Lexus were the SUV's where you could walk away.
