Globalstar Phone Performance

Just spent a couple of hours talking to my friend who works for the Lockheed Martin (formerly Loral group,
Western Development Labs (formerly Ford Aerospace) that spun out the Globalstar engineering effort that
is headquartered in facilities on the Western Development Campus in San Jose. He has close contacts with
the Globalstar team mostly on a social basis. He told me that most of the engineers and salesman (several
hundred) have been carrying and routinely using Globalstar phones for both business and personal use for
several months and that they work great. Although not advertised to work in a car, if the
phone is held near a window they work just fine. It made me feel good because I am one of those people
who absolutely believes there is a large market for the Globalstar services and the business/marketing plan is
solid. Have a good day.
