f: Yeah, still looking at LSI, but I'm not going above 55. Actually, now that I look at the chart, 54 seems a better spot. I don't really want to be chasing anything in a down market. I've given up the ghost on GE - doesn't portend well for the broad market that its BO failed.

TELLABS INTRODUCES NEW IP ACCESS PACKAGE FOR MARTISDXX(TM) SYSTEM IP ACCESS
PACKAGE ENABLES SERVICE PROVIDERS TO PROVIDE MULTIPLE BUSINESS Services Over
One Platform

LISLE, Ill., Sep 22, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Tellabs (Nasdaq:
TLAB) today announced the availability of the IP Access Package, which
enables service providers to offer IP-based data services over the
MartisDXX platform and manage them under one network management system.

Business service providers can use the Tellabs IP Access Package to
broaden their existing product portfolio to offer IP-based services,
such as managed Internet access, secure LAN-interconnect services,
corporate intranets, and native IP services. With the IP Access
Package, all of these services can be managed with the MartisDXX
Manager (network and services management system) and delivered to
customers over one access line.

The MartisDXX provides operators with a migration path from the current
time-division multiplexed (TDM)-based service platforms to
next-generation data communications access platforms through an
integrating network and services management system.

"The unique modular structure of the MartisDXX system allows service
providers to easily and cost effectively migrate to the IP service
environment," said Jukka Harju, vice president and general manager of
Tellabs Oy. "The IP Access Package enables them to use their existing
infrastructure to quickly deploy new IP-based services."

The Tellabs MartisDXX managed access and transport network system is
currently deployed in more than 160 networks in over 60 countries
worldwide, providing intelligent transport for mobile services and
multi-service platforms for a broad range of business services,
including LAN interconnect, digital leased line, frame relay and PBX
interconnection.
