Keeping in mind that preservation of capitol is important this time of year, I am buying back some of the recent IPOs at the low prices we are seeing today (NSIL at 14 5/8 and GDEN at 19 5/8). I did sell the gap as it was a strong open, but bought back as I am thinking that again the QP run ups will occur. I also have in a limit order to buy back LUMT. If you look at the charts of some of the previous IPOs you see somewhat of the same cycle. Not saying they won't dip more from here, but when they run up they can go up 30% or more in a day.

Seems like traders run them up one by one as their QP approaches.

Taking into account volatility at this time of year, I will use stops. I am wondering if anyone else follows this approach.

Jean
