Triangle Broadcasting Hires Outside Law Firm

PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1999--Triangle Broadcasting Co. (OTCBB:GAAY) announced today that it has hired outside legal counsel to investigate and bring legal action against an individual or group of individuals who are suspected of manipulating the price of the company's publicly traded stock.

The individual or group of individuals are suspected of making statements on a certain message board on numerous occasions that they were part of an "inner circle" with management and that management was passing along to them information. The law suit stated that one individual in particular even went as far as to state that he "spoke to Dick (Weiner) or spoke to Frank (Olsen)" about what the company's news announcements really said and additional information that couldn't be included.

Management stated unequivocally that it was not having conversations with this individual or any other individual with respect to corporate business or any oral modification of the news announcements. Management is seeking legal remedies against this individual and others involved believing that they conspired to raise the price of the stock on false statements in order to gain financially at the expense of others.

Safe Harbor Statements Under the Private Securities Reform Act of 1995: The statements contained herein that are not historical facts are forward looking statements that are subject to risk and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from those expressed in the forward looking statement.

"raise"?
Looks like just the opposite to me!
"LOWER" seems to be more appropriate!

It was obvious earlier today...
Bid was .07 Ask was .08
The LAST was .09

Someone BOT at .09 with the Ask at .08...
Sounds like the MM's purposely taking it lower to me...
Comments on that one?
