ahhaha, I you sell gold forward when the time comes to deliver you can either sell what you mine or buy it for more or less and fill the order. I suspect that they are hoarding their mined gold and buying spot to meet forward committments, looking to the future when the mine may be closed but the company still must meet those forward committments. This tells me there is a period of instability approaching in SA and that gold may in fact climbe because of it. Bill
