Well, I do not wish to make too much out of this when it is difficult to resolve in such a forum. The Zionists would say that they lived together amicably until Arab nationalists entered the picture. The big problem is this, though: since it used to be the policy of even the comparatively respectable PLO, the current negotiating partner with the Israeli government, to target school buses for terroristic acts, why should we take very seriously the claims of these people? And given the nature of most Arab governments in the area, why should we take their side against Israel? Hassad and Saddam Hussein have wiped out whole villages within their own territories with chemical weapons, Lebanon cannot control its own territory, and Saudi Arabia still puts adulteresses to death.....Israel is much closer to being a democracy, even if you hold it to be deficient....
