Outlook Express crashes ... Can you delete the Icons causing the crashes and copy the working Icon to the now vacant locations? I don't know if this will help, but it shouldn't hurt and is easy to do. Cheers, PW. P.S. I think you hold down the Ctrl key while dragging to 'copy' instead of 'move' Icons. P.P.S. Error message stuff ... As you probably realize by now, the type of error message and memory dump you've encountered helps end users solve their problems very, very, little. This information enables a developer who has the source code and debugging tools available to pinpoint just where in the program the error originates. The only useful information an end user could glean from this mess is the name of the module causing the fault. One could re-load this file from their CD and see if it helps. Beyond this, your hands are tied.
