It's almost a sure thing for short term. So don't see why one shouldn't buy.

There were four big earthquakes jolted Taiwan in two days. The first one was at 7.6, and the three major after shocks (among the 2000) were all over 6. It is equivalent to have four Loma Perita quakes (the 89 bay area earthquake) struke at the same area in two days. I don't think the chip companies in Taiwan can be fully recovered in one week, and the DRAM price will definitely go up even more before X'mas.
