Sensitivity 101 Etiquette and the TOU.... One might be tempted to extreme language, in some cases, but it is always wrong.....sensitivity,sensitivity,sensitivity For example....you might be tempted to say..... Anyone that would post a provocative message just to delete it and get a another poster suspended is a sorry SOB. That is incorrect and insensitive and a probable violation of the TOU. (I do this for mere educational purposes) Correctly....one should merely ask.... "Is your mother registered with the AKC or a mere mongrel.." This assumes that they have ever heard of the AKC and have the mental abilities to make the connections between a female dog that they are the son of....which can be a reach for some on SI. Another common error is to call someone a bstrd. This is incorrect, also....not to mention, likely to get you into the GrayBar Motel...singing "Swing Low Sweet Chariot".... A correct reply to someone that deleted a deliberately provocative post made to get another poster suspended might be.... "Is there any chance that your parents might marry? Or is it forbidden by law?" There other large-caliber words used in PMs to me which I forget at the moment....but I remember my correct* wording*, which might be applied to a person that would apply to a person that would delete a post after provoking a response and getting a person suspended...like.... " I hope you really enjoy the conjugal visits that your mother makes to the facility that you are being held for the time being." Be sensitive. We are all people here.... Kum-by-yah...kum-by-yah....
