john, i appreciate all of what you are saying. i am familiar with the pairgain story. i thought the same caution applies here too in reverse. particularly since the phony ibm story around june 1. a news org said ibm would not use rmbs...the price crashed...3 days later ibm said they would not only use rmbs, they are going to mfr it as well. several other incorrect negative news stories i can think of. i know the pairgain story was fake good news. i just never thought about in the context of rmbs. of course even the "true" good news gets shot down here.<ggg> unclewest
