As a good comparison ONV (Oro Nevada Resources Inc)which just changed its to MVM (Martlet Venture Management Ltd) might be worth a look.

I caught ONV on the last run for a quick flip but have always thought that JDX had far more potential (and still do). However it does make a good comparison since the charts and what they are planning on doing is very similar.

ONV has 22 million shares out and $8 million in cash with no debt. Insiders hold 2.5 million shares and a few connected groups hold around 4 million.

Back in Dec.-Feb. the stock looked to be under accumulated by several houses.......In Feb. the company announced they were looking for a new direction for the company to the tech./internet sector. Private placements were done at cheap prices (3 million at @ .39) at that time to position key people and shortly after the stock made a run on volume......this sounds very familiar so far<gggg>

After the run to $1.95 in April it did a slow drop and finally based between .75-.60 for 3 months with some weird buying and selling patterns (some similar to what we are seeing now). During this period they kept their shareholders in the dark about what they were doing and how the deals were coming along (also sounds similar to a company I know).

1 month ago they started to move up slowly, a few days later they announced a name change to to Martlet Venture Management Limited. One week after that they announced their first small deal and the stock ran up to $1.35...they are now at $1.25.

ONV is one the ASE so it receives far less exposure than companies on the TSE...plus many fund managers won't touch a stock on the ASE with a ten foot pole. ONV has 1/3 of the cash of JDX, plus management and connected individuals appear to have less than half the holdings in ONV compared to what the insiders and friendly hands are currently holding in JDX. For these reasons and many other I think JDX will be far more successful than ONV (MVM). However I put ONV out as an example that companies that have good management teams (ONV's is good), money and holdings in their company WILL find a deal that will move the stock.

I bet the people holding ONV at .75-.60 during those 3 months were getting impatient and wondering if management was every going to do anything. Those shareholders have already been rewarded with a double and possibly more if ONV stays on track.

Best Regards
KEITH
