Nulldog, The Cosmic Monkey in fact is the prototypical monkeypithicus humanus which just predated man. It is Cosmic because we don't know to what degree the Cosmos influenced his genetic material. He is the one that silently, in the forrests of The Amazon, wrote under the midday sun beautiful epic poems just prior to the Odyssey. As I said most of those poems it is believed to have been lost or to be hidden in a cave in Patagonia.
