Susan, are you watching this on QCharts? Which study are you using to get the ADX and D+ lines?

That's why I don't use DX any longer, although sometimes I get lazy and just leave them. You can see examples where the ADX was exploding while the stock was moving down, yet in virtually 15-30 minutes or so the stock picks up and pops. But all this is in the intraday charts. The ADX and directional don't trigger that much on the long term chart (which is why I like them).. If you note on this weeek's newsletter there are two stocks there where the DMI called a buy signal and the last one was 3 months ago. Its a powerful indicator. I also like aroon but that's another story. As I said, the indicator is important but if you have a 'dud' stock no indicator will make any difference.

Jenna & Susan - after hours - can you point me to your original discussion prior to today on -DI, +DI & ADX - i printed it but lost it - i'm going through iqc education pages and want to use what you two discussed - if you can give a rough idea of date and time i'll search again - thanks, Connor26
