MEXICO CITY, Sep. 22 (Reforma/Infolatina)-- Hewlett Packard (HP) and
Starmedia have joined forces to offer an integral solution to
electronic commerce directed at the small and medium size business that
doesn't want to get involved in developing infrastructure, personnel,
and publicity to sell via internet. According to Alfonso Rello, manager
of consulting and electronic services at HP Mexico, the solution being
offered is simple, low cost and cost efficient for companies that
"don't have an idea of how to begin selling through internet" or have
given up on complicated systems. Data from IDC indicates that business
through internet in Latin America will mushroom from 300 million to 7
