ClearWorks Expands BDS Base by $315 Million
HOUSTON, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearWorks.net (OTC Bulletin Board: CLWK) announced today that it will expand its network to provide its package of Bundled Digital Services(SM) to all major communities within Cinco Ranch providing for a planed total of 14,000 new and existing homes. The Company will retrofit the communities and homes to support state-of-the-art telecommunications services provided by ClearWorks and provide IBM (NYSE: IBM) Home Director products. This effort marks one of the largest retrofits of IBM Home Director technology into existing homes currently occurring nationwide. ClearWorks.net is an authorized home systems integrator for IBM Home Director technology. ClearWorks is additionally the nations leading provider of Fiber To The Home (FTTH) for the delivery of Bundled Digital Services(SM) including high speed Internet connectivity, dial-tone, digital multi-channel video, on-demand video rental and other digital services.

Existing residents within Cinco Ranch number approximately 5,000 with a total of 14,000 homes planned within the communities. ClearWorks Communications anticipates capturing a 75% market share within the communities based on its competitive pricing model. Services provided within the communities will be provided at an approximate 50% discount to what residents currently pay. Based on the expansion, ClearWorks anticipates capturing approximately $315 million in new revenues during the life of the project. The Company anticipates breaking ground on the retrofit project within the next 30 days.

"Our Fiber To The Home (FTTH) deployment will enable us to be very cost competitive, and to penetrate the existing home base quickly. Retrofitting IBM Home Director into existing homes will allow us to provide a digital infrastructure within the homes, which will benefit the homeowners long term," continued Mr. Moss.

ClearWorks.net pre-wires or retrofits new or existing homes, multifamily developments and commercial buildings with fiber-optics networks, enabling them to receive the latest computing and telecommunications technology. The Company also works in conjunctions with developers and builders to build state-of-the-art technology into new subdivisions, multifamily dwelling units and homes for providing Bundled Digital Services(SM). The Company is an authorized IBM Home Systems Integrator and pre-wire every house or unit with IBM Home Director technology to accept a full compliment of digital services. The Company also provides cabling, networking and consulting services to schools and school districts, enabling them to take advantage of the latest computing and communications technologies.
