The idea of putting commonly used applications on the web and making them accessible from anywhere is extremely positive for Sun. I think it's likely to continue. If it does continue then the demand for large, scalable web sites will mushroom. And Sun is far ahead in that game.

Qwik, my husband is as cynical as you. He thought the ad was terrible. He found it confusing. When he has time, he will look at Sun's home page for the specifics.

I guess the ad was very good for the neophyte, the person, like myself, who wants to understand how the Network will become the computer. The ad makes us aware of the transition.

The advertisement will be good PR for Sun.
