As I write, the D'backs' magic number is 2. Unless your math is very weak, you should not be capitalizing "NO". It would make sense to state that the Giants have almost no chance, or perhaps that they have no practical chance. BTW, when were the Dodgers mathematically eliminated? One can watch ESPN for the old games, of course. That doesn't come close to having been there. (Same may be true of Maxam. Have you been there? Flat. Hot. Fascinating.) Whatever DR reports or doesn't, que sera, sera. Hoping or despairing here will not have any practical effect on what is happening. Regards, Ed D.
