Lola,

Yet, it seems when people trying to help others, the response is very acid at times.

I had a few unfruitful exchanges with Prob in the past on the subject of CDPlus. I held the view that the ex-SBX (Standard Brands) holders only brought an almost empty shell to the deal. CDPlus is still much a brick-and-mortar operation, with an attempt to enter into a very crowded CD e-commerce market. Prob, somehow saw it as an Internet play. To each his/her own I guess!

What really amazed me was, by his own admission of NO DD, the purchase of HCI. I was shocked to see a blind buy at close to end of trading. It appeared to be an attempt to cover losses on CDW at the roulette table, not usually a good strategy.

I am not up-to-speed on HCI, as their web site provides no in-depth financial data. There does not appear to be much info available.

It was not so much the leap into HCI, as it coming on the heels of a similar leap into CDW (by his own admission, comprised huge portion of his portfolio). If one is to take a loss at something, at least some lessons learned would help. In this case, it appears that Prob does not want to discuss lessons learned. His choice.

Others looking at his actions might have been tempted to imitate him, thinking that he had "special" information, which he did not.
